About Us: PSI, Inc., is a family owned business established in January 2007, to provide quality apparel and accessories with images that reflect the African American experience. Many of our children are having major challenges identifying with the images that are being marketed by the fashion industry.

In 2007, we were reminded that not much has changed since the original black vs. white doll test was administered in the 1940’s, on children ages 3-7 by psychologists Kenneth B. Clark. A disproportionate number of our children continue to select images that do not look like them. It is all of our responsibility to help our children see the beauty they all possess. This must begin at birth and continue throughout their lives. PSI, is committed to providing quality merchandize showcasing images that reflect our beauty, our culture, and our history.
